David Dean Bottrell

David Dean Bottrell has played guest star/ recurring roles on such shows as the new Frasier (2023), the new Law & Order (2022), Modern Family, The Blacklist, Law and Order: SVU, NCIS, Mad Men, Justified, True Blood, Longmire, Rectify, CSI, Bones, Castle, Criminal Minds, Days of Our Lives, iCarly, and Boston Legal to name just a few.  His many theatre credits include shows at Second Stage, the Long Wharf Theatre, Bay Street Theatre and Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Humana Festival. He co-wrote the off-Broadway play, “Dearly Departed,” (published by Dramatist Play Service) as well the hit film adaptation, “Kingdom Come.”  Additionally, he’s written screenplays for many major studios including Disney Feature Animation, Paramount, MTV Films, and Fox Searchlight, etc.  He’s done sketch and storytelling shows at Joe's Pub, Comedy Central Stage, Acme Comedy Theater and Dixon Place.  His solo storytelling show, David Dean Bottrell Makes Love: A One Man show played multiple sold-out runs on both coasts from 2019-2022.  His most recent solo show, The Death of Me Yet (2023-2024) has to date played sold-out runs in NYC, Los Angeles, Sag Harbor, Nantucket and Palm Springs.  He has taught camera acting for the UCLA Professional School, USC, Temple University and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
