Laura Sametz

Laura Sametz made her Broadway debut playing Eli Wallach's daughter in Cafe Crown at The Brooks Atkinson Theater following Joseph Papp giving her a start at The Public Theater in the Off Broadway Production. She has appeared on Off Broadway stages including Manhattan Theater Club (Black Eagles), The Public Theater (Macbeth, In The Heart Of America, Under The Radar Festival, Cafe Crown), Shakespeare in the Park (Much Ado About Nothing, King John), HB Playwrights Foundation (Voir Dire) and others. Performing in Contemporary and Classical plays in Regional Theaters around the country including Baltimore’s Center Stage, Alliance Theater, Powerhouse/NY Stage and Film,  New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, George Street, Actors Theater of Louisville, Williamstown and more.

Featured and Supporting roles in the  films: It Had To Be You, Everything is Ordinary, The Ride Home, and Wayward Son and TV Guest Starring roles on New Amsterdam, Gypsy, The Following, Blindspot, When I Grow Up, New York News, and six roles on all three Law and Orders.  

Laura received her MFA in Acting from the NYU Graduate Acting Program.
