Maureen Sebastian
Maureen Sebastian is an actor/writer/producer based in New York City. As a Lucille Lortel nominated actress, she’s worked with theatres such as Manhattan Theatre Club, Berkeley Repertory, Arena Stage, Ars Nova, and Second Stage, as well as in film/television with HBO, A24, NBC, FOX, and Amazon. As a member of Ma-Yi Theatre Company’s Writers Lab, she has had readings of her work performed at Ma-Yi Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and F*ckIt Club. Maureen produced and starred in the web series “Pretty Precious Unicorns” and the short film “Second Province”. She co-created “Gulp Podcast” (IFP Audio Hub selection) and “A Guide to Freedom: A North Star Fund Podcast” with Risa Sarachan. She is the recipient of the J.R.R. Humphreys Fellowship in playwriting and the 2025 White Bird Productions Creative Families Resident.
