Company member, Annie Henk, is plays Imaculada in Man Cave, a new play by John J. Caswell Jr., presented by New York theaterย company Page 73, and directed by Taylor Reynolds. The world premiere production runs through April 2nd at The Connelly Theater in downtown Manhattan. The cast also includes Claudia Acosta, Jacqueline Guillรฉn, and Socorro Santiago.
Xochitl Gonzalezโs debut novel tells the story of Olga Acevedo, a successful wedding planner, and her brother, Prieto, a popular U.S. congressman living in a Puerto Rican neighborhood in Brooklyn. Company member Armando Riesco is joined byย Almarie Guerra andย Inรฉs del Castilloโa trio of Puerto-Rican born narratorsโin bringing the audiobook version to life.
Companyย member, Emma O’Donnell, is understudying all of the women’s roles inย A Touch of the Poetย at the Irish Repertory Theatre. Eugene OโNeill wrote this tragic tale about the immigrant experience and generational aspiration, and it was the first work written for his famously unfinished cycle about the Irish in America. The production runs through April 17.
Julia Gibson, is currently appearing in the Playmakers Repertory Companyย production ofย Yoga Play, written by Dipika Guha and directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh. Julia plays Joan, the new CEO of Jojomon, an apparel giant whose reputation isnโt as sterling as the fit of their bestselling yoga pants. The production finishes its run March 13.
