Company member, Sanjit De Silva, plays Bassanio in Theatre for a New Audience’s new production of The Merchant of Venice, Shakespeare’s perennially contested play about corrosive bigotry and blinding vengeance. The cast features John Douglas Thompson as Shylock in his fifth classical collaboration with director by Arin Arbus. Performances run through March 6, 2022 at the Polonsky Shakespeare Center in Brooklyn.
Company Member Lizan Mitchell plays the role of Tisha in Aleshea Harris’s new play On Sugarland. Now Through March 20 at New York Theatre Workshop.
Company Member Marjan Neshat plays the role of Marjan in the world premiere of English, a new play from Sanaz Toossi, produced by Atlantic Theatre Company, in a co-production with Roundabout Theatre Company. Company Members Mel House and Kathy McCafferty are currently appearing in the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina’s production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Mel plays the role of Judy, mother to 15-year-old Christopher, while Kathy reprises a series of roles, Mrs. Shears and Mrs. Gascoyne, that she played in the National Tour.

Liz’s best friends want her to be happy, but the dentist she’s smitten with is just plain creepy. When he is linked to a mysterious disappearance, they turn their book club into a mash-up of Nancy Drew, Murder She Wrote, and Sex and the City.
