Company member Jason Kravits is in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, with music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin, and direction and choreography by Danny Mefford, now running Off-Broadway at New World Stages. As contestants white-knuckle adolescence and the heat of competition, their emotions run from A to Zโbut they step up to the mic anyway because they love spelling, and because being a champion could solve everything. Company member Trish Lindstrom has joined the Year 7 Broadway cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Childย at the Lyric Theatre. After playing Ginny Potter on the National Tour as well as in Toronto, she now makes her Broadway debut in the same role. Directed by John Tiffany, and based on the original story by J.K. Rowling, the story follows Albus, the son of Harry Potter, as he navigates his first years at Hogwarts and becomes friends with Scorpius Malfoy, the son of his father’s rival.
Company member Stephen McKinley Henderson returns as Calbert Graham in the new season of A Man on the Inside, created by Mike Schur and starring Ted Danson, now available to stream on Netflix. Retiree-turned-mole Charles Nieuwendyk is back, and this time, he goes undercover as the big man on campus. On the heels of his success at Pacific View Retirement Home, Charles heads to his daughter’s alma mater, Wheeler College, where he goes undercover as an engineering professor to find out who is blackmailing the schoolโs president.
