Company member John-Andrew Morrison will join the Broadway cast of Oh, Mary!, written by Cole Escola and directed by Sam Pinkleton. The Tony Award-winning dark comedy follows Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to her husband’s assassination. John-Andrew plays the role of Mary’s Husband, alongside Jane Krakowski as Mary Todd Lincoln and Cheyenne Jackson as Mary’s Teacher, at the Lyceum Theatre October 14-December 7.
Jackie Chung is in The Summer I Turned Pretty, the coming-of-age romantic drama series created by author Jenny Han, based on her novel trilogy of the same name. Now in its third season, the series follows teenager Belly as she navigates her first love and heartbreak while caught in a love triangle between two brothers. As speculation about Big Daddy’s health simmers just beneath the festivities, rivalries for his favor and the family fortune heat up. Performances run through November 2 in Denver, CO.
Company members Brandon Flynn and Damian Young are in the feature film Fucktoys, written, directed and starring Annapurna Sriram, making its New York premiere at NewFest this month. The film is a lush 16mm fever dream that reimagines The Fool’s Journey of the Tarot through the story of AP—a sanguine young woman seeking salvation from a curse. Dark, irreverent, and sexy, AP stumbles upon new characters and absurd situations, each more unhinged than the last, as she winds her way deeper into the night, into the uncouth underbelly of Trashtown. Fucktoys is a campy romp that explores the intersection of intimacy, exploitation, and class in a pre-millenium alternate universe. Hind ultimately unites the warring tribes in the historic Battle of Ze Qar, a clash that reshapes the Arabian Peninsula. The film had its world premiere at Zurich Film Festival on September 28.

The workplace comedy follows a group of dedicated teachers—and an oblivious principal—in a Philadelphia public school where, despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed.
