Baize Buzan
Baize received her BA in Drama from Vassar College and her MFA from the Yale School of Drama, with additional training at the Moscow Art Theater and School at Steppenwolf.
She made her Broadway debut as an original cast member of Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird, and later made her Broadway principal debut as Scout Finch opposite Greg Kinnear’s Atticus Finch. She has worked on productions, workshops, and readings off-Broadway and regionally with Page 73, Arena Stage, New York Stage and Film, The New Group, Steppenwolf, and Victory Gardens. Film and television credits include Being The Ricardos, the starring role in the SXSW Narrative Competition selection Our Father, NBC’s “Chicago Fire,” the indie feature Nobody’s Home, and Apple TV+’s Your Friends and Neighbors.
Baize is also a proud volunteer for Experience Camps, a one-week no-cost summer camp for grieving children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver.
