Liz Hayes

Liz Hayes is an actor, teaching artist and voice, dialect and text coach for theatre, film and television. She is currently the Head of Voice and Speech in the MFA Acting Program at Columbia University and has served on the Voice and Speech faculties of the Juilliard School’s Drama Division, the MFA Acting Program at Brooklyn College, NYU/Tisch's New Studio on Broadway, Pace University, Syracuse University’s Tepper Semester, The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Emerson College and the Walnut Hill School for the Arts. Liz has vocal and dialect coached both on and off-Broadway, and is currently the Resident Voice & Dialect coach for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Other theater companies and institutions include Playwrights Horizons, Roundabout Theatre Co., Second Stage Theater, McCarter Theatre Center, Huntington Theatre Co., Audible.com and the Juilliard School. As an actor, Liz most recently appeared in Andrew Bovell's Things I Know to Be True at Great Barrington Public Theater. Other recent theaters include The Roundabout Theatre Co. and the Menier Chocolate Factory in London. She has also worked regionally at McCarter Theater and The Old Globe and with numerous Boston-based companies, where she was based for many years and was a founding member of the Elliot Norton Award-winning theater company Orfeo Group. Liz is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, VASTA and The Actors Center, holds an MFA from GWU/The Shakespeare Theatre Company, and is a graduate of Brown University.
