Maury Ginsberg
Maury has appeared Off Broadway and at leading regional theaters across the country, including the Cherry Lane Theatre, The Geffen Playhouse, The Old Globe, South Coast Repertory, Great Lakes Theater, Arizona Theatre Company, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Geva Theatre Center, Cincinnati Playhouse, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Pasadena Playhouse, and many others. He spent multiple seasons at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and enjoyed a 30-year creative collaboration with the late Olympia Dukakis, performing together in productions of Chekhov, Brecht, and Shakespeare at Williamstown and in theaters nationwide.
His film work includes The Week Of with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock, 5 Flights Up with Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton, Rocket Science (Sundance winner), Lansky with Richard Dreyfuss, The Girl in the Park with Sigourney Weaver, The Ring with Naomi Watts, Big Miracle with Drew Barrymore, According to Greta with Hilary Duff and Ellen Burstyn, and The Housemaid.
Television credits include recurring roles opposite Samuel L. Jackson in The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, as well as Manifest, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Saint X (Hulu), and a recurring role in the upcoming series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed. Additional appearances include What We Do in the Shadows, American Horror Stories, Scenes from a Marriage, New Amsterdam, Blue Bloods, Elementary, Madam Secretary, House of Cards, Damages, The Good Wife, a recurring role on Law & Order, and classics such as Friends and Star Trek: Voyager.
Maury teaches acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the SUNY Purchase BFA Acting Program.
Maury is a graduate of the theater program at Bard College.
